If you’re going to Turkey for the first time and you’ve chosen to stay in or near to Hisaronu and you’re looking to stay by the pool all day –I urge you to think again!

Turkey is stuffed with things to do, see and experience. If you can resist the activities on this page then you are missing out. Turkey is a land of memories, all waiting for you to discover them and make them your own.

From your own doorstep to a day or more's journey away a unique experience and a new memory is awaiting your presence.

From the ghost village of Kaya (just up the road from Hisaronu – so close it’s just a 30 minute walk); to the surreal vista of the cave dwellings of Cappadoccia many kilometres away there is a whole world of wonderful things to fill your days.

We’ll transport you to the heady heights of Mount Babadag, where you can jump off!; to the icy waters and plunging chasm of Saklikent; to the slippery-looking cotton wool ‘castles’ of Pamukkale; to the mud baths of Dalyan and their anti-aging qualities and its Turtle Beach; to the ancient city of Ephesus and its remarkably preserved ruins; to the Blue Lagoon of Olu Deniz, a paradise on earth; to the old town within the newer town of Fethiyé, with its shops, harbour and marina; to the small but exquisite marina of Gocek; to a land of sights, smells and tastes that will leave you wanting to return to Turkey time after time.

We'll show you where to paraglide, ride a quad bike, take a boat trip, take a walk and more. We'll get you away from that poolside and out and about discovering just what makes Turkey a fantastic holiday destination and an exciting place to visit.
